Acids- Acids taste sour and has a pH that is less than 7
Bases- Bases have a pH greater than 7 and taste bitter
Indicator- to detect whether it's an acid or base
pH- called Power of Hydrogen and has a scale from 0-14
Arrhenius's Acid and Base- Acid produce hydrogen ions and bases produce hydroxide ions
Bronsted-Lowry Acid and Base- Acid is a hydrogen-ion donor and Base is a hydrogen-ion acceptor
